Each and every John Smedley garment receives special attention. After knitting, water from the natural springs surrounding the factory is used to wash the garments, giving them their luxurious ‘soft handle’. Then three stages of hand-supervised pressing ensure lasting fit and shape. Finally, seamstresses apply the trims, buttons and labels by hand.
